Cannot assign a newly created role to a post.

    I have just installed AM version 1.7.3. I successfully created the role I want called “Member”. I added a new user and assigned her the Member role. I then went to an existing post and tried to assign her as the author so she could maintain the post in the future, but the author drop down does not appear. If I edit the post, the drop down does show, but the new user I created who was assigned the Member role does not appear.

    Have I missed something that I need to do along the way to be able to assign this user to a post or page?
