Cannot Align Headings Anymore After Update

  • After updating wordpress to version 5.3.2 I noticed that I can no longer align the headers in blog posts. They are all aligned to the left.

    At first I thought maybe it was an issue with a specific theme but then I tried it on the default wordpress themes twenty nineteen and the issue still persisted.

    It was never a problem with wordpress 5.2

    Can anyone help me fix this issue?

    I also just noticed that if I select classic (classic editor?) then the alignment issue is fixed but if I’m just selecting header after clicking on the block or + sign then the issue presists.
