    Hello! I’m using version 4.5.10 of The Events Calendar plugin with the latest version of the Eco World theme (making edits on the child theme). The events element appears on the home page about halfway down.

    This is a new installation. (I don’t know if it matters, but I did import the theme’s dummy data.) I created a venue and organizer, but I can find no way to add a venue to an event using the interface. Under ‘Location’ appears ‘Venue’ but there’s no dropdown list or any way to add the venue. I’m having the same problem adding an organizer.

    The Google Maps feature doesn’t work either. I’m assuming this is because the system sees no venue. Before I dive into the code, can you help?

  • Having the same issue.
    v 4.5.10 of The Events Calendar,
    v 4.4.15 of The Events Calendar PRO, and
    v 3.7.5 of WordPress

    When creating a new event, or editing a pre-existing one, I cannot edit the venue or organizer.
    On a new event, I am only given the option to “Add another organizer”. Clicking this button just scrolls to the top of the page and does nothing else.There are no visible options next to Venue:

    On pre-existing events which had venues and organizers originally, I can no longer see either. I am given the option to Edit Venue and Edit Organizer (both open new tabs) and Add another organizer which does the same as stated above.

    Additionally, adjusting the time and date of the event does not work properly. The date box only allows me to type in the date instead of opening a calendar like before, and the selecting a time only opens a small UI that doesn’t let me select anything at all.

    I am using Events Calendar Pro and also cannot see the “Venus” or “Organizers”.
    I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it to no avail. I tried disabling all other plugins and that did not work either.

    My problems happened right after the update.

    Sorry to hear that, Bill.

    It’s working as expected here and most users seem not to be hitting this. Can you copy and paste your system information in here (found in the Events → Help screen) and/or itemize what version of WordPress you are using along with a list of other plugins and the theme you are using?

    Additionally, can you try our standard troubleshooting steps?

    In essence, please deactivate everything except for The Events Calendar. Confirm it is up to date (it sounds like it is already) and switch to a default theme such as Twenty Seventeen: do you still see the same issue?

    For everyone else, please do feel free to follow along but we’re going to focus on assisting Bill (@imabbb) here. If you need help that is specific to your own installations, please do create fresh topics of your own if you haven’t already done so.
