Cannot add transparent images to Evolve+ theme

  • Hi,

    I want to add an image to my wordpress site (https://aarc-project.eu/) which uses the Evolve+ theme.

    I have a transparent image but when I add it to my page the theme adds a white background/frame. I looked around but I have not found an easy fix (https://aarc-project.eu/about/approach/) for this. To mitigate the problem I’ve now added a backgroung to the pic that is the same colour as of my content area. BTW I don’t seem to be able to change the background of the content area either.

    Any help would be really appriated!
