Cannot Add RSS Feed

  • Hi, I just recently noticed that my RSS feed is not working. I believe it was working when I created my website (www.torontonicity.com) five months ago, but then I added the Pretty Permalinks (I’m using the second option with the Day and Name) and I cannot get the RSS feed to work. I’ve tried using Feedburner and it says there is no feed. Please help. I’ve just spend the last four hours searching Google and the www.remarpro.com forums and have not been able to resolve the problem. Many thanks.

  • Your feed file is invalid. Either your theme or a plugin is outputting CSS & markup at the top of the RSS file. Try:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi Esmi, Thanks. I don’t think it’s the theme. I will deactivate my plug-ins and see if this works.
