We have recently started seeing serious issue with your plugin. We have narrowed down it to specifically to this. When your plugin is active randomly products cannot be added to cart or removed them. The loading circle goes for a while and nothing happens. Also there are lots of errors on on just ONE product page while all the other products just do not work.

Same issue. Cart is not editable. But it is fixed by opening Dev Tools and disabling cache.

I have now tried to escalate this to WPML too since it seems that author here is not responding to this but other issues. Disabling the cache did not help on our environment (Litespeed server)

    Hello @sirrahikkala,

Could you please confirm if you are using WooCommerce Multilingual 5.3.5? Also, could you please tell us if you are also using WPML?

    Regards

    Thread Starter sirrahikkala

    (@sirrahikkala)

Yes, the issues started after the 5.3.5 and yes also to WPML. Everything is up-to-date. Including plugins, core, woocommerce etc.

I disable all my plugins one-by-one and only thing which restored the functionality was disabling “WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with WPML”.

Thank you very much @sirrahikkala and sorry for the late reply, this ticket passed under our radar.

However, as you are using WPML, it is better to continue in your WPML ticket. On one hand we can’t provide non-commercial plugins support here. On the other hand, we have the tools there to access to your website and investigate your case.

    Thanks again for your help!

    (@sirrahikkala)

But is the issue with WPML if it works fine but just your plugin does not?

    (@andrescifuentesr)

If you temporary deactivate WPML and you just use WCML, does the error appear? If that’s the case, we can try to replicate it in a Sandbox.

However, if you need WPML, it is better to continue there. We are part of the same team, I’m just trying to help you in the best considering this forum limitations. For example, I can’t access your website in this forum, in WPML’s forum we have the tools for that.

Keep in mind that here we support only the standalone version of WCML.

    Thread Starter sirrahikkala

    (@sirrahikkala)

Yes. I disabled all the WPML related plugins and the issue is back. Check this screencapture. Randomly it just stops addind products to cart. Also what it does not show in that video is that randomly it does not allow removing items from cart either.

Thank you for the video, however WPML is active there. Could you please try to reproduce the issue here?

Also, could you confirm that if you rollback to WCML 5.3.3, the issue disappears?

    Thread Starter sirrahikkala

    (@sirrahikkala)

    It was not active. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/hxjrrr7hasi1mde6snzfu/Issues2.mp4?rlkey=ys44asfrj6mdk5opdh2h4l634&dl=0

BUT I noticed that it’s not about this plugins version. I downgraded it to 5.3.3.1 and to 5.3.3. and yet it does not work, so there is something going on this plugin is active with some other plugin which has been updated.

Some more information for you. I have now toggled everything off of except your plugin and woocommerce and it stops working at some point after activating plugins when there is “enough” plugins to slow a bit the adding and editing cart function. There is no specific plugin because toggling few different plugins with yours started the issue BUT if I disable yours but leave all the others on, the site works fine. For example Stamped.io or Metorik or even WPML main plugins caused the issue with your plugin but they together worked fine without your multicurrency. I hope I explained it better. My guess is that there is some sort of timeout or prioritisation issue with your plugin.

Thank you very much for this new information. However, without a way to reproduce it, we won’t be able to help.

Could you please reproduce the issue in the Sandbox provided?

I tried to replicate it but it would require similar environment and case such our live environment with all the plugins, products and connections and background server. I can provide admin access to live site where you could debug it to certain extent while in maintenance mode. I think you could see more into developer tools and data than I could. Also do note that there is another in this thread too who has the same issue so it’s not unique situation.

Thanks but as I mentioned from the beginning, we can’t do that in this forum. There is not a safe way to share your credentials and it is also against the forum policies.

If you can’t reproduce the issue in this Sandbox, I really recommend you to continue your WPML ticket. You can share your credentials to my colleague Bobby and he will be happy to help you.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Fair enough, I will wait when Bobby will answer.
