I’ve tried this with no other plugins installed/active and using the default WordPress theme. The priced field does not save in new events or when updating old ones.

  • I have the same problem since 5.7.1 update. Price does not get saved (or displayed) if the GUTENBERG BLOCK EDITOR is enabled for editing. If I turn off the Block Editor then I can set, and save price.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for reporting this.

Unfortunately, I can confirm this is a bug with the block editor. For the moment, you can downgrade to the previous version of The Events Calendar 5.7.0 to bring back this functionality.

Just in case, here’s a guide on how to downgrade to an older version

Please hang in there, we’ll let you know once a fix is released for this.

Thanks so much for confirming this. It was driving me mad. Will be patient for a fix.

Good to know. Yes, this is just in the Block Editor. We’re able to use the old editor to save those event prices.
