    Hi,

We are observing strange issues after updating to latest wordpress v4.8. Please see the attached
screenshot. Cannot update or add new plugins on both our sites https://www.eventznu.com and https://www.golibrary.co.
Cannot see any error logs though.

Only error seen on WP admin dashboard is RSS Error:

WP HTTP Error: cURL error 28: connect() timed out!
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: cURL error 28: connect() timed out! on both the sites. Not sure if this is a problem with server config or WordPress. That’s why mailed you and also raised a ticket with our hosting provider. Please note that already tried deactivating all plugins and that didn’t help. Looks like something amiss in the latest WP version.

On other site https://www.golibrary.go, we get the below while adding or updating new plugin
    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Web Server at golibrary.co

Please note that had tried deactivating all the plugins here too but that didn’t help

We believe this issue is also linked to the site behaving weirdly and loading slowly. Please advice. It’s very urgent.

Can someone please take time to reply to this. Otherwise we will have to rollback to previous version of wordpress. It’s badly hurting our business. The website is completely broken with just 1 update. Deactivating all plugins isn’t helping. Please reply at the earliest.

Also, let us know the delta between wp 4.8 and previous version so that we can ask our hosting provider to replace only those files.

This has been resolved. The problem was from our hosting provider’s end. Closing this ticket.
