Cannot Add New Topic

    I cannot create new topics, the message is Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page. I am the admin for my site, why can’t I create new topics?

    I deleted the plugin, reinstalled it, same problem and all my events are gone.

    OK, I did say not to delete and re-installed as you’d lose the events.

    Do you have other plugins installed? Perhaps there is a conflict? You can try to deactivate them one at a time until they are all deactivated checking each time that the issue still exits.

    Sorry, I misunderstood you. I’ll restore the backup. Checking the other plugins now for a conflict.

    Still same problem with all other plugins deactivated.

    One thing you might try is to re-save your permalinks – under settings – just visit the page and click save – this is a long shot but it won’t hurt to check it.
