Cannot add new categories to the system

  • Hi there – I’m using wordpress 2.3 and I’ve tried to add new categories, but they don’t seem to be added. I enter the information, and click ‘add categories’, and the page refreshes like it is being added, but I don’t see anything.

    I just tried to add a category called ‘Life’, but no luck. Does anyone have any ideas why this could be a problem?

    Now it’s working – I might just be a little slow – I guess the categories don’t show up on the site until you add them to a post. ??

    My new categories added are not showing up at all. How do you add a category to a post if the category name is not visible on the page? thanks for your response…
