Cannot Add Media to the Media Library

  • Hello there,

    To start, I’ve done the usual disable theme and plugins, and that didn’t solve my issue.

    Anyway, WordPress seems to be having issues with images I’ve been uploading today. When I try uploading an image to the Media Gallery, it does so, but doesn’t give me a thumbnail image. I was able to upload pictures just fine yesterday, but can’t today.

    When I try to click on the link where the image is apparently located, I get a 403 error. “You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/uploads/2013/06/image.png on this server.” (I briefly gave each of those folders in that directory permissions 777 to no avail.)

    Interestingly enough, when accessing my uploads folders via FTP, the images exist and are uploaded correctly.

    So does anyone have any thoughts?
