Cannot add images

  • Hi,
    I’m looking forward to using your plugin – looks awesome. But for now, I cannot add images to a gallery. I’ve tried uploading and adding from media. I have also disabled all plugins (except maxgalleria of course), checked file permissions and switched my theme to the wordpress default. No luck with any of these things. I’m running wp 4.0 and the latest maxgalleria.
    Do you have any other tips or tricks?

    Just gathering more information, what happens when you try to upload? Does it time out or does it act like it’s uploading and then do nothing. If you could explain a bit more we’ll try to get you a fix.

    Thanks for your reply. It does act like it’s uploading.
    After selecting/uploading my image and clicking the “add to gallery” button in the media ui, a message on the page under the “add images” button says: “adding images from media library, this might take a few moments, please wait…” next to spinning arrows.
    Then within 2-4 seconds a dialogue box pops up that says “There was a problem adding the images to your gallery.”
    Then, after ok-ing out of the dialogue box, on the page under the “add images” button it says “No images have been added to this gallery.”
