Cannot add image

    I don’t know exactly when this happend but yesterday I tried adding some images into a post and nothing happens. The images can upload just fine, the interface is there but when I click “insert into post nothing happens”
    A little debugging gives me this event on clicking the button:
    POST https://www.aurelm.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 404 (Not Found)

    I have to mention that it happens in all the browser in my pc (opera,firefox,chrome no addblocker) and most browsers in my job pc. However there is ONE browser that does work, there is the firefox installed in my work pc that seems to have no issues and there is no 404 error. To me this does not make any sense.

    Anyway, the things I tried:
    -Renamed the plugins folder to make sure there is no interference
    -Manually downgraded to 2.9 and back to 2.9.2
    -Changed theme
    -cleaned browser chache
    -reinstalled browser from scratch
    -adding various scripts and functions into various files as suggested in similar problem posts.

    Also I should mention that besides aurelm.com I have another site dystalgia.com hosted in the same place that has the exact same issues (another theme, other plugins). It seems like all of a sudden my sites seem to stop working. At first I taught it was the automated 2.9.2 update but it does not seem so.

    Does anyone have any ideas ?

    I also made a new site on the same server with a new wordpress install and new database (basically a fresh wordpress test). I still cannot insert any images, when clicking “insert into post” the media windows closes but nothing else happens. However I don’t see any error anywhere, it just looks as if the button does not do anything.

    Since this is just a test instalation you can try to connect to the wordpress panel and see if you can add an image into a post:

    Ok guys, fixed in the end. It was for some reason an hosting error that was fixed by the guys there. It is still strange that on one computer in one browser it worked without any issues.
