    Hi,

for some strange reason it’s not possible to add custom taxonomy terms to regular WordPress posts anymore. I can enter terms but they aren’t saved. When I refresh the editor page they just disappear. It definitely worked the last time I did it and I didn’t change anything. Adding custom taxonomy terms to custom post types also still works without any problem. I deactivated the ACF I added to the taxonomies but that didn’t help. I really have no idea why this is happening.

Very odd indeed, and something I don’t have any sort of answer to at the moment either, as we haven’t pushed up any changes for CPTUI, especially ones that could potentially break something, in 3 months. Even then, all of our changes are more around our own areas of the WP admin, and not in the editor areas.

Wish I had better answers here. Not sure if there’s other parts of the site that have changed, or if you performed any core/plugin updates that could be playing a part here.

    Thank you for your reply.

I just deactivated ACF Pro for debugging purposes. Adding custom taxonomy terms worked again until I reactivated it. So it seems to have something to do with that. I will ask there what could cause the problem.

Sounds good, thanks for the followup.
