    Hi,

All of our WordPress websites have the exact same issue when I go to “Plugins” and click “Add New” – this is the error I get:

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

This just started yesterday and has never happened before. I confirmed with our hosting company that there are no issues on their end.

I’ve disabled plugins, disabled the theme (we use the same theme for all sites), refreshed permalinks, nothing works.

I’ve tried updating the theme on a couple of sites that needed to be updated and it wouldn’t update – something about a Curl command. I’ve never seem this before.

All of these sites have the latest version of WordPress.

It’s strange that this all of a sudden happened and it’s every single site that uses WordPress.

    Thank you.

Update: on some WP sites, I can access the WP repository, but when I click “Install”, I get this error:

Installation failed: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

It seems some sites I can access the WP repository, but others, I completely cannot and receive the error on my first post of this thread.

    Thank you.

Please contact your hosting company as there may be restrictions or DNS issues on their servers.

I have exactly the same problem at the same time as you. I’m wondering there are some problems with the data center? I also contact my host and they can’t do anything about that as well. Please let me know if you can resolve this.

This miraculously started to resolve itself on Friday. I believe it was some type of DDoS attack, but unsure if it was on our hosting side or WordPress side.

Our hosting company confirmed there was nothing wrong with our DNS. None of our websites were down, you just couldn’t access the www.remarpro.com repository. Seems like the Denial of Service was on the end of www.remarpro.com.
