Cannot Add A New Genesis Sidebar

  • I just installed genesis simple sidebars last night. I tried to create my first sidebar and I get this error after adding a name no matter what name I choose

    “Oops! Please choose a valid Name and ID for this sidebar”

    I’ve tried williams, will1, new1. I’ve tried adding the id too and I still get the same error. I’ve used this plugin before with no problems and not sure why I’m getting this error. Any clues?

    I’m using the Executive Pro Theme from StudioPress.

    So I installed genesis simple sidebars in a brand new website install, on a different server and I got the same exact error for this website too.

    I can’t be the only one getting this problem. Twice, with two different client accounts.

    I’m using Executive Pro Theme Again, if that happens to make a difference which I don’t think it does but who knows.

    Anyone?

    I’m using the latest wordpress and latest genesis installs on both sites. Both sites are fully updated.
