    Hi,
I’m trying to activate the plugin on linux hosting where I have a lot of wordpress websites and it gives me an error when trying to activate the plugin:

Warning: require_once(/home/dvirh/public_html/mydomain.com/rojo/wp-content/themes/rojo/plugins/meta_slider/inc/slider/metaslider.class.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/dvirh/public_html/mydomain.com/rojo/wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/ml-slider.php on line 24

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/dvirh/public_html/mydomain.com/rojo/wp-content/themes/rojo/plugins/meta_slider/inc/slider/metaslider.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/dvirh/public_html/mydomain.com/rojo/wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/ml-slider.php on line 24

mydomain.com is originally my website root.

Would love for some help from you guys,
    thanks!

  • Hi dvirhazout,

Are you using the premium ‘Rojo’ theme by any chance, or is it coincidence that you have ‘rojo’ in the path?

The theme, I believe, already has Meta Slider installed. Try deleting both the ‘wp-content/plugins/meta_slider’ and the ‘wp-content/plugins/ml-slider’ folder, then install a fresh copy from your plugins menu.

You’re right. I use the rojo premium theme which I see now already has the plugin built in.
but I can’t seem to see the menu of the meta slider in the dashboard but I guess it’s a question to the theme author.

    Thank you so much!!

    No problem ??

If you don’t get a response from the author then feel free to email the theme to me (I won’t use it on a public site), and I’ll see if I can work out whats up. It did look like Meta Slider had been modified by the theme author when i saw a screenshot for it in that theme.

    Regards,
    Tom

I dropped the plugin from the theme dir along with the line requesting the plugin from the functions.php file and then installed the plugin and it’s perfect.

    Thanks again,
    Dvir

    Awesome, no problem ??
