Cannot activate purchased Contact Form 7 Addon

    Hi, just purchased the Addon for Contact Form 7 – but I am not able to activate the Plugin. It keeps saying

    “You need to install and activate Contact Form 7 Database Addon”

    Even though it is installed. I tried installing it right on my FTP and also uploading it via the WordPress Admin Interface – but both times I am not able to activate it.

    It would be great to get a bit of help here for the paid add-on as I wanted to use the Plugin with Contact Form 7 as well.

    We need a bit more information, can You please visit our support page and give us a bit more information about plugins that You have?

    We want to know some basic informations:
    1. Do You have wp-gdpr-core plugin?
    2. A version of wp-gdpr-core?
    3. Do You have contact form 7?
    4. A version of contact form 7?
    5. Do You have contact form 7 database addon?
    6. A version of contact form 7 database addon?
    7. If some error occurs in error log it would also help with an investigation if You send it to us ??
    8. Are all the plugins active? ??

    I finally fixed it myself ??

    It was because there were

      no clear instructions

    and the naming of the plugins is rather confusing.

    I purchased the WP GDPR Contact Form Database 7 Addon. I downloaded it and installed it. When trying to activate it the error message says

    “You need to install and activate Contact Form 7 Database Addon”

    So obviously I am thinking, well I already did that. Little did I know that there is yet ANOTHER plugin that is called Contact Form 7 Database Addon without the WP GDPR in front of its name.

    The ReadMe supplied with the purchased download does not contain an installation note regarding ALL the requirements.

    Sidenote: In the Readme of the Contact Form 7 Addon it says Gravity Forms ??

    Thanks for Your feedback.
    I’m glad that Your problem is fixed.
    The upcoming release of the WP-GDPR ( version 1.5 ) will contain
    more instructions and even some tutorials for the divergent addons we create.
    We will look at the readme file. Thanks for reporting this.
