Cannot Activate plugin

  • Hi. I installed the plugin from my WordPress admin dashboard plugin>add new>pluginname>install>activate.

    It shows Activated but when I go to the plugin page on the admin panel, it stil shows plugin not activated.

    When I click on the Activate button, it returns a message Plugin Activated, but still not so.

    Please help.
