Cannot activate plugin

    I use this plugin in all my websites, but today when i upgraded plugin on one of the installations from Version 2.8.9 to latest, it got deactivated and i cannot activate it again. When i activate, it shows message that plugin is activated but it remains deactivated.

    Other plugins installed:
    – BackWPup
    – Facebook Comments Plugin
    – jQuery Archive List Widget
    – jQuery Categories List Widget
    – MailChimp for WordPress
    – Stop Spam Comments
    – SyntaxHighlighter Evolved
    – Top 10
    – User Profile Picture
    – Widget CSS Classes
    – WordPress Related Posts
    – Wp Posts Carousel

    When i re-upload old plugin folder from backup it works fine.

    Hi there,

    Can you confirm what PHP version you are running? When it auto deactivates it should tell you it has been deactivated with an error message – strange if it is not doing it for you.

    For your information you need PHP 5.4+

    Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I have PHP 5.3.29 at the moment. I will talk to my hosting providers to change and will check if it helps. Thanks!
