Cannot activate

I uploaded the plugin, purchased the upgrade to pro and click activate. I enter the code sent to me. It takes me to the FTP page, I click PROCEDE and then it cycles me back to the upgrade for $17 page. NO UPGRADE to the plugin on my site.
All FTP info is correct.
