I am trying to install a local version of my site on localhost using WAMP. I have done this before by disabling the plugin. For some reason I cannot access the admin page. It will redirect me to my https live version. Or I get “not available”. Usually I import my SQL file, disable the plugin and do a search and replace for the domain. I have tried to delete the tables and I cannot login.

I have installed a new copy of login.php
Downloaded the htaccess file and edit it
    Installed new version of WordPress
    Increased the memory limit.

    Hi,

It sounds like the search and replace wasn’t complete.
Which tables did you delete the AIOWPS ones?
Here is the UpdraftPlus guide on what to do if a search and replace is not done: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/migrated-site-searchreplace-database-can-now/
Although, if you have deleted tables, you may be better off starting afresh.

I was able to correct it. I knew it must be something simple because I have 3 other sites with the same set up. I downloaded the htaccess file and edited it, reviewed the errors, used another theme, cleared the active plugins in the database to get into the admin panel. Then used a search and replace plugin and its ok now.
