    Hi,

Thank you in advance for the assistance

We moved this website from 1 hosting company to another.

We are now experiencing the following problem:

We can access the wp-admin page, we enter our administrator username and password.

WordPress then redirects for the front page of the website and does not open the backend at all.

The top right corner shows : “howdy administrator” . the top left icon shows the shortcut to get to the backend.

However, when clicking it, it simply redirects to the front page of the website.

    I have done the following:

    Delete .htaccess
    Disable all plugins
    Disabled theme

    The problem still persists

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @edwardlrt, here are the troubleshooting steps you can follow:

    • Check the redirection URLs in your hosting panel to be correctly set. You can also check site URLs in wp-config.php as described here.
    • Clear browser cache and cookies, refresh the page and try again.
    • Enable WordPress Debugging mode and check the issue (See this?article).

If the issue persists, or you have trouble doing these steps, it is best to also contact your hosting support team for further technical help.

As the problem occurred after switch web-hosting, did you try contacting the web-host regarding this?

I have indeed, they say websites are out of their range of expertise. They only handle the hosting part of it

Something went wrong when moving database to another host. Problem is with the users and usermeta tables. If you have recent backup, you should delete these two tables and re-create from the backup.

    Hi guys,

    Thank you for the assistance

The admin user permissions was corrupted. Had to create a new user with admin access manually.

After doing this the problem was resolved

How did you create a user when you were unable to access the back-end of your site?
