Cannot access widgets

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

-I still have the same problem in the twenty Eleven theme so i don’t think it is a theme issue.

-I have freshly uploaded wordpress 3 times and i still have the same issue.

I haven’t tried resetting the plugin folder, php and databases are over my head. lol but i’ll give it a try. If that doesn’t work do you know of anything else that might work?

Its not up for everyone to see you will need a user to view it.
The surface of the site seems fine its just the admin area that’s messed up.

I just found out that the clients webhost account was hacked. I’m gonna check through the links you suggested and see if that helps.
