• Hello, I just tried out your member swipe for BuddyBoss.

    I encounter 2 big issues:

A: I used the “Custom Profile Menu for BuddyPress” plugin to create an extra tab on the user profile page. I could add the shortcode for your “Member Swipe” plugin via the other plugin. However, I cannot access the settings to customize teh details on the member cards because this profile page does not allow the “EDIT” function (e.g. to edit it with Gutenberg in the back-end).

B: When I try to access the extra tab on the profile page with the MemberSwipe shortcode it blows the vover image out of proportion. In other words, it messes up the page header part with the cover image. This is not due ot the “Custom Profile Menu for BuddyPress” plugin because I created other tabs and they dont do this with the profile page.

    Hi @melaniesinmek,

Thank you for trying out Member Swipe for BuddyPress and for bringing these issues to our attention. We appreciate your feedback.

I’m afraid Member Swipe was not made for this use. It might be possible, but I think adapt this require customization development.

Concerning the cover image distortion, this might be related to the styling of the Member Swipe shortcode conflicting with your theme or other plugins. To address this, you can try the following:

    1. Inspect the page using your browser’s developer tools to identify the CSS causing the cover image issue.
    2. Adjust the CSS styling for the Member Swipe shortcode to ensure compatibility with your theme.

    Hope this will help you.

    Best regards,
