I was having problems with uploading images and tried to change permissions (using this website page https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-image-upload-issue-in-wordpress/ ) The end result is that I still cannot upload images (they upload but are not complete, just a grey box) and now I cannot access the permalink page on the dashboard. So now I have two problems where I only had one!

    This is my website https://catharinejenkinsphotos.com/

I am relatively new to WordPress and haven’t got much of a clue about ‘permissions’, just followed the advice on the webpage above. I am loathe to mess again but I figure I need to do something.

I am hoping I don’t have to mess with files in Filezilla as I am worried I am going to make things even worse but, if so, can anyone advise me in as simple a way as possible?

When I try to access permalink settings I get HTTP 500 ‘The website cannot display the page’ and ‘Most likely cause: the website is under maintenance or has a programming error.

OK, I deactivated the TT social icons plug-in and the permalink page has now reappeared
