Cannot access my new blog

  • I have set up a new blog with Hostmonster, but as yet have not been able to access it. How can I get in for the first time. I installed a theme with another program, but have not been able to get into https://www.wind-solar-power.net/wp-admin . I assumed the username would be admin
    but I do not have a password for it yet, so I put in my email address for them to send me a password, but they tell me there is no such email address registered. About 5 minutes ago, I used that email address to get a password for this forum.
    Please help. I have spent HOURS trying to get in.

    Hmmm… It gives you the password during the normal; install process.

    Scroll up > Docs and search for “resetting password” or similar keywords.

    I did not install with WordPress, but from another program called WordPressdirect.com.

    When I tried the resetting password at the admin area, it told me that my email address was not in the data base, but all the emails I have had from WordPress are to that address. But thanks for your help. I’ll just keep trying and maybe it will work another day.

    Then you should ask support at that wpdirect whatever. We do not support their thing/product.
    We support straitforward installations.
