Cannot access login page

  • I have tried to install WP via Fantastico on my new host server, but cannot access the admin login because the domain is currently active on another server. I want to design a new site using WP and use the new hosting company. Fantastico will not allow me to change the domain to the temporary new host location ( https://67.225.166.238/~bishop/)

    I have also tried to follow the instructions for manual installation, but cannot find where I need to put the temporary domain info (https://67.225.166.238/~bishop/).

    How can I install and use WP on this new host server yet still maintain the exisiting site?

    An update on my previous post…

    I tried changing the HOSTNAME in the wp_config file to thee temporary URL my webhost provided:
    /** MySQL hostname */
    define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘https://67.225.166.238/~bishop’);

    I also tried:
    67.225.166.238/~bishop/
    /~bishop/
    https://67.225.166.238/~bishop

    But nothing works. I keep getting:
    “Not Found The requested URL /~bishop/wp-admin/ was not found on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

    Any ideas?
