Cannot access install.php

Heya, Ive followed the “5 minute” installation guide, created a mySQL DB and enabled PHP on my host.

When I try to do the next step, which is access /wp-admin/install.php I get the following:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: ” (ASCII=15) state=1 in /usr/bin/php4-cgi on line 3033

Parse error: parse error, unexpected ‘*’ in /usr/bin/php4-cgi on line 3033
