• Hello, I updated to 4.6 and I could no longer access Edit CSS after. This also caused the format and style of my website to change. I’m currently using Virtue Theme.
The second menu isn’t showing up either.
    Please see pc.candyskyshop.com

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Not sure what it looked like before but it seems ok.

You do have a javascript error.
Font from origin 'https://xend.com.ph' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://pc.candyskyshop.com' is therefore not allowed access.

Hello, thank you for your response.

I’ve removed the script that you mentioned was causing an error.

However this doesn’t solve my issue: Edit CSS under Appearance in the dashboard no longer shows up.

This happened after I updated to 4.6, and the custom css I had there is now gone, because of this my website’s front end does not look the same as I had intended it to be.

My secondary menu does not show up despite having set it up correctly (its still the same settings as before when it was working).

These issues only came about after my update.

    Thanks!

    Have you tried:
-deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    Thank you for your response, kmessinger. Unfortunately these didn’t work for me;

The Edit CSS page is still nowhere to be found. Is this part of the 4.6 update? Did WordPress remove it?

@mishumali, core WordPress doesn’t include an Appearance → Edit CSS link, so it’s likely that a plugin was responsible for adding that for you.

For example, if you have the Jetpack plugin activated, and its Custom CSS module enabled, then you’d see just such a link.
