Cannot Access Dashboard – “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”

  • It looks like you have a security plugin that records admin IP addresses. Perhaps there is a whitelist of admins who are allowed to access the dashboard. Has you IP address changed recently? Can you disable the security plugin by renaming the its folder under /wp-content/plugins, or through the database?
