  • I’m having a similar problem as Ronald. I followed instructions on the plugins website to first use the disable coded url. That didn’t work, so I renamed the plugin in CPanel, I still can’t access the site.

With the exception of classic editor plugin, there are no other plugins.

    Thank you for the feedback.

Roland, are you using the plugin on WordPress.com website?

If the plugin isn’t active anymore and you only can access the website with the safe URL it could mean two things:
    1. The server has a cache and you need to flush it every time you change the paths.
    2. The server is in Nginx and you need to restart the Nginx config to update the new paths.

Both situations are related to caching. This is the only problem you can have when you use Hide My WP to customize the paths.
Just make sure you flush the server cache every time you’re saving the settings.

    John
