have used the plugin to change the login URL. Works good but the moment I login, I cannot access the dashboard at all and the following message appears on screen:

    This has been disabled

I have disabled the cache and tried again but nothing changes. I’ve removed the plugin from FTP now so I can access my website dashboard. Please advise me on what I can do to fix this issue.

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

This is normal when trying to access /wp-admin/ directly when not logged-in.

You have to go through your custom login URL to login

    Hi,

I am having the same issue.

I am not accessing wp-admin directly, I am accessing it through the login from my new login URL.

    Please advise

All I did was add the plugin and activate the plugin nothing else and now i cant get into the dashboard at all. th page doesnt load at all. I get the following error – This has been disabled

You should login using your custom URL before trying to access wp-admin

when i activated the plugin it never asked me to create a custom url. I just activated and made some changes and logged out and now i cant login. What do I do ?

changes to my website that is

I do not know what the custom url is. So how do i fix this

    why are you not answering

You should know this is a free plugin and free support, so I reply when I’m able to.

the default login url set by the plugin is /login/, so you can try with that. If it doesn’t work, remove you can do that:

    I forgot my login url!
Either go to your MySQL database and look for the value of whl_page in the options table, or remove the wps-hide-login folder from your plugins folder, log in through wp-login.php and reinstall the plugin.

On a multisite install the whl_page option will be in the sitemeta table, if there is no such option in the options table.

    I have the same problem.

    – i installed the plugin
    – i created a custom login url
    – entered the custom login url in browser
    – provided my login credentials

after that the page redirects to a page that gives me:

    This has been disabled

    please advise

    Hey folks,

if anyone have Problem to login after activating this Plugin, you should check your DomainCookies. At least, delete all Cached stuff and re-login with the security link.

    This must solve the Problem.

    Background:
Because your faulty Cookies, you are not allowed to access the dashboard.
In conclusion, you have to delete all your cookies, so WordPress can set your “correct” cookies and you may gain access back..

    regards

THE PROBLEM ISN’T COOKIES OR NOT USING THE URL THAT WAS CREATED. I GO TO THE NEW URL AND LOGIN. WORDPRESS DASHBOARDS URL ONCE LOGGED IN IS AUTOMATICALLY WP-ADMIN. SO i GET THE ERROR. i UNDERSTAND THIS IS A FREE PLUGIN BUT IT BROKE MY SITE. I DELETED ALL OTHER PLUGINS AND IT STILL DOESN’T WORK BECAUSE IT IS IN THE DATABASE. YOU NEED TO FIX THIS AND NOT HAVE IT ONLINE IF IT BREAKS SITES.
