Brand new install on a new server, but after I log into WordPress, it gives the error:

“An error occurred while loading https://127.0.0.1/wp-login.php:
Connection to host 127.0.0.1 is broken.” (I’m hosting it on my home PC)

However, I can access every other page such as moderation.php, themes.php, etc. It even shows that I am logged into WP, and I am able to update the blog without any issues.

Unfortunately, clicking on the Dashboard link or heading to “https://127.0.0.1/wp-admin/index.php” results in the aforementioned error.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Fixed it. The memory_limit value in php.ini was set to 8M, so the script would crash each time I tried to log in. Changing the value to 64M and a reboot solved the problem.
