Cannont Move or edit Widgets!

    I have looked online for the solution but nothing is working. I have other wordpress sites that the widgets work fine but not this one for some reason. I cannot edit or move/drag the widgets whatsover. I have tried the default theme, inactivated all plugins. Nothing. I cannot click on screen options as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It seems like others have had similar issues with this?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Ok tried all those, and nothing. Worst off, it looks like my site I may have deleted even though I had backed it up. I reuploaded a fresh wordpress and with nothing changed I STILL can’t move the widgets. I have no idea whats going on. I just uploaded a WP to a unrelated website yesterday and that works fine. I am totally lost and more than a little frustrated.

    Have you tried using some other browser it works

    I tried mozilla/firefox with no luck

    no a different browser doesnt fix anything
