Candidates email field pre-populated with Admin email address

I’ve added the applications plugin to WP Job Manager.

When the candidate fills out the online job application, the box for their email address has been pre-populated the the WordPress admin’s email address.

I’ve tried adding a “Placeholders/Options” text that says “You email address”, but it doesn’t override it.

How can I solve this? Because (a) the applicant doesn’t need to see an email address and (b) it’s confusing for them to have to delete a strange email address and replace it with their own.
