Once clicked, the area stays highlighted so that the user can navigate over to the more info box where there might be a link or additional information. So it’s necessary to keep it highlighted after click.

It will disable the highlight if you click again on the area, or if you click a different area.

If that’s not what you’re seeing, there may be an issue we aren’t aware of. In that case, could you send a link?

    Thanks!

It acts as you say in your first para, but not as in the second.
    Try it – knucklascastle.org.uk/orchard
It happens in Firefox and IE so it’s not a browser issue.
It is actually a bit random, it worked properly briefly and then sometimes one or two cleared!

Sorry about that, I didn’t realize you were using the lightbox layout in the Pro version.

We are planning to address that in an upcoming update, so that it removes the highlight after closing the lightbox. We should have that published in the 1.2 update to the Pro version shceduled for next Friday.

OK thanks! It is not urgent of course.

Hi, on this note, is there an option to leave the images highlighted that you’ve previously clicked? I’d like to use that feature to allow the user to pick different items in a collage, and be able to see what items they selected across a grid of photos.

Second question, would it be possible to keep track of which items a user clicks on a grid (perhaps a plugin you can recommend that gives the user an option to save a screenshot of which items they’ve selected?)

    Hi Dave,

The areas all unhighlight now when you click to another area on the image (or if you close the lightbox view in the Pro version). So it wouldn’t be possible to click and select multiple areas at once since the plugin wouldn’t know which set of information to display.

    Best,
    Nathan
