    Hello,
I have a problem where MailPoert – post notification sends max posts when turned off and on. So I tryed to cancel the Mail in Task Scheduler but can not find this option.

The thing is that Ive worked on the site and it keeps sending these mails. And there is no way to stop an unatuhorized mail. Any ideas?

    Hello @indistant ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear you’re experiencing this.

This might have been a result of a bug in the post notification feature which has been fixed.

If you haven’t kindly update to the latest version of the MailPoet Plugin and let us know if this fixes the issue you’re experiencing.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Have a great day.

    Hello,
I tested the version before the 3.100.0 and It was sending the notifications when:
I create a new page on my site,
when I turn the post notification off/on or change it and then activate it (I hope there is a way to cancel that first notification when it sends MAX posts),
I add a post in the category that im sending out and
when I edited the post in the sending categori.
Sending category = In the notification I choose specific categories that I send out.

I did not test the current 3.100.0 version but I see that if I have the instant post option on it workes fine.
+ I see The Scheduled tasks does not display any notifications in the schedule eaven when it says it has two task in line.
++ Is it posible to cancel a task? or "clear" the task Schaduel?

We’re aware of this other issue and we’re already working to fix it.

Is it posible to cancel a task? or “clear” the task Schaduel?

You can do that via the plugin by completely deleting an email that is scheduled to be sent or in the middle of sending.

If it refers to a scheduled email not visible to be deleted (i.e.: Welcome Email, Post Notification), the only way to delete this task from the sending queue is by searching for the task ID in your database and manually deleting it.
