Canceled Donation Question

    Hi, I’m currently just testing this plugin, website not live yet.
    Sorry if this is a silly question but it’s not clear to me if when a donation button is clicked but the user decides to cancel – is this still recorded as a donation in the ‘donations’ admin page or ignored? Or in other words does the plugin know what happened at the PayPal end and not just recording clicks on the button?
    I’m assuming it does talk to PayPal so it can record how much was donated (I will let donor decide amount).
    Will it also collect the email address of the donor?

    Hi Craig,
    No, if they click the button but they don’t make an actual donation, it won’t count as a completed donation on your dashboard.

    Yes, it records details in your WordPress dashboard, it looks like this:
