Cancel/close my www.remarpro.com account

We cannot close accounts on www.remarpro.com. You can edit your profile to delete all personal information, but the account cannot be closed or deleted. (It’s a technical issue, not a policy question.)

Nope,can’t do that either, but you can obscure it sort of by setting a first and last name and then using those as the display name.

How do I remove my profile photo? And can I change my email to something else so that I may sign up for a new account?

Your profile image is hooked up to your gravatar profile, so login from there — or just change your email and it will drop your image. You can change email from your profile.

If one may ask, why are you doing this?

I honestly just want to change my username to the one I use everywhere else. It’s a bit ridiculous I can’t do that. The next best option seems to be intentionally disabling/obfuscating this account and creating a new one with the username I want. Unless you can think of another approach?

Unfortunately, that’s the only approach available at this time.

for some reason, i am getting a TON of support emails that I did not subscribe to. Over 20 an hour! I have gone and unsubscribed from each topic, but every time a new topic comes up I get another email. HOW DO I STOP THIS? I have unsubscribed from the forums and still they come. I am a very unhappy camper at this point. I want it to stop……NOW!

The unsubscribe functions are a bit challenged right now, kristi. Please start a new topic for assistance.

Is there any option to edit or delete topic from activity tab?

When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from. Deleting posts removes this added value. Forum topics will only be edited or deleted if they represent a valid legal, security, or safety concern.
