Cancel event default setting

    If I edit an event (which has the Cancel event setting on holidays UNSET) the save action automatically changes the setting to Set w/o my realizing it.
    If this event happens to occur on a Holiday it, of course, doesn’t appear in the calendar where it had previously appeared! Since I’m concentrating on the edit I just made, I’m not considering this possiblility.
    It would be better if this Setting for an Edited Event would remain unchanged when it is edited unless I deliberately do this. Thanks, Joe.

    I am finding it impossible to UNCHECK the box for
    Cancel event if it occurs on a date with an event in “Holidays”
    I uncheck it, update, edit the recurring series and the box is checked again.
    How can I get around this?

    This is fixed for the next release. The problem was that the default state was getting triggered every time the checkbox was shown, rather than only on new events.
