cancel button on my order page needs custom popup message after 5 minutes

    Hi Team,

    Good Day!

    First of all thank you for the marvellous plugin

    FYI – My website is a butcher shop with no freezer concepts our products are on daily basis only.

    So when I get a delivery request the meats are dispatched within 5 minutes of time and once it got dispatched orders cannot be cancelled because the products are perishable.

    If a customer wants to cancel the order as no longer required/ordered by mistake they should be given 5 minutes of time from order time to do it.

    Currently, I use this plugin to have a cancel button in my orders page, I find it is easy to use but it is displaying forever

    My requirement is to have this cancel button with enabled ajax popup when clicked to display an error message after 5 minutes of order time (stating “sorry this order has been dispatched and cannot be cancelled at this moment please read terms and policies for more or contact support”) if cancel button is clicked after 5 minutes.

    Could you please help with the issue

    Hi, you can simply change order status once order is shipped, so button will disappear from front end.
    the other option is you can upgrade to premium version, so there you can get option to hide cancel button after certain time.

    but there is no option to display popup with custom message, you can only achieve this by customization.

    can you please elaborate a bit more detail on customization whether it can be achieved in snippets, any cost of work, can be done with free version of the plugin

    Hi, it can’t be done in free version, even if you customize the free version , it will be difficult to update that for latest changes.
