Can Youtube video view count incrementing be done?

    It seems without using the Youtube embed code, which MaxGalleria doesn’t support, Youtube view counts don’t increment. Is there a way to get views in a Gallery to increment in Youtube? Or at least count them in MaxGalleria?

    There are quite a lot of views happening on FB (relatively speaking) and I have just realised we may need to swao the FB url for the Youtube embed code, if that is even possible. So I tried to put it in MG and found it couldn’t happen.

    Searching this forum says the q hasn’t been asked before. Which can mean there is something really obvious I have missed! Thank you in advance for any tips / help provided.

    No, I don’t think the view can be incremented. Probably they do not want individuals to artificially inflate the number of views.
