First of all, thank you very much for your fantastic plugin.

We need to create a custom search engine in which the results are updated based on the category select in a selection field, so we need this field to act as the input text field and do it on the fly, without having to press any additional buttons like submit button.

The problem is that most of your browser functions are inside jQuery( document ).ready, so they are inaccessible from a custom script to do what we want to do.

Can you please update the wpsl-gmap.min.js file declaring the functions outside of jQuery( document ).ready to be functional in any custom script?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Best regards.

  • Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, and thanks for your comments.

We are not thinking of doing any modifications to the core plugin files right now. Our focus is now in releasing the next major version that will include a ton of new features and will be even more extensible and customizable, and those are the features that our users love the most.

However, since Wp Store Locator is free and open source, feel free to modify the wpsl-gmap.js file however you see fit for your particular use ??

    All the best,

Can we send it to you modified so that you can add it to the next update?

    Best regards.

If you make an interesting modification you can send it over, and we will of course review it.

    Thanks a lot ??

Finally we have customized the native search without needing to create new fields.

    Thank you very much anyway.

    Best regards.
