This plugin is photo oriented. You can have a map as attribute to the photo, but you can not have several photo locations on one map.

How it works is described and demonstrated here:

Thanks for the fast reply. This is exactly was I was looking for – one Photo can show one location.

My problem now, is that I cant get the w#location to Work. Where do I have to put this to show the Google map? Another thing is that my Photos has the GPS coordinates embedded in them, but I cant get the plugin to get this information?

Example (still under Construction) is https://www.terranaut.dk/wordpress/?page_id=4804 (choose Danmark).

    Yours sincerely

    Do the following:

    1. Tick the box in Table II-B14: Custom box.

    2. Enter in the edit box of Table II-B15:

    w#location

Now display the slideshow with the photo with the gpx info in the exif data. This info should already be there ( see the photo admin page, right half, just below the Photo Sizes it should read something like: Location: N 20°37'11.49" E 96°30'49.15" )

    Hi,

Did it, but the fields with Lat. and Lon. is still empty (in Photo admin page) regardless of your help just above. I can of course set the fields manually, but a automatical read from EXIF and write in WPPA+ database would be nice.

You’re more than welcome to see and download the original Photo (with exif and gps data) – link: https://www.terranaut.dk/04-2014-00003.jpg

    Sorry for the inconvience

    Ok,

Set Table IX-K5 to WPPA+ Embedded code.
    Tick Table IX-H8

What happens when you now upload a new photo with gps?

Nothing – no lat or lon in the fields

Yours does not do it on my site either.
The photofile has no GPS_IFD_Pointer ( exif tag #8825 )

    Please try this one:

Success with your file. The problem must be that my file don’t have the GPS_IFD_Pointer … I’ll have to look into that, but it seems to be a local problem here ??

    Thanks for you support ??

    Hi Jacob,
Just to give you a feedback of what the problem was (its solved now).

I was using an old program (Downloader Pro) to embed the GPS data and so far everything just worked fine (an awful lot of old Photos only in jpeg). But apparently this program make some funny things to the EXIF (ie forget the exif tag #8825), so when I just use my raw-converter (Capture One) to embed the GPS coordinates to the photos, everything just went fine!

So the answer is – don’t use ekstra software to embed your GPS data.

    Case closed ??
