can you restore deleted posts to original dates?

    I impulsively deleted almost every blog post I made in 2009 and I would like to restore them. I have everything saved to a document on my computer so the text is not lost. The problem is that if I post them now it will be under today’s date and I need them to appear as posted on the dates I originally posted them.

    Is there any way to alter the date on the posts so they appear to have been posted all throughout last year?

  • in ‘admin’ ‘post’ ‘edit’ in the box where you press ‘publish’ or ‘update’ there is the line with ‘published on…’ with a small edit link to the right. click that and edit the date ??
