Sorry for the delay here, it turns out I don’t get notified when a post comes in.

This works the other way around, so the customer will fill out a form during the Exchange checkout process.

Okay. It would sweet if it worked the other way too, so we could sell an Exchange item from any form on the site. iThemes should definitely hire you . . . .

It would be fantastic! I’ll take a look and see if it is possible.

    Haha ??

    Hey Todd,

How would you imagine this working?

The store owner would create a Gravity Form order form. Would this form be for selling only a certain product?

Would the payment be handled through Gravity Forms, or would it be handled through Exchange?

What happens when the form is completed, would you want Exchange to just create a new transaction for that customer as if they had purchased it through Exchange?

What happens when a prospective customer presses the Buy Now button on the Exchange product page. Would they be redirected to a page setup by the store owner, or would the Gravity Form appear on that product page?

    Cheers,

    Timothy

    Hi Timothy-

I think it would be easiest to add an exchange product, or selection of products, to a gravity form and have it recorded as an Exchange sale. If you have Exchange and GF installed you basically have two shopping cart/stores installed. Adding an Exchange product to a form solves that.

I personally would prefer to replace the Buy Now with a form, because I think it’s a smoother customer experience. I’m hoping that Exchange gets better as it matures, but things are pretty locked down for now.

    Hey Todd,

I think we are going to develop a feature like that.

I’ll let you know when it is released!

    Cheers,

    Timothy
