• I cannot get this to work at all. I installed it and it shows up as installed in the dashboard. I followed all your instructions up to:

    tail -f /var/log/wp_f2b.log

    …but after creating that file it remains at a size of zero even though I can see lots of other attacks -including failed login attempts- coming in on my server (via the apache log “access.log”). My server is running Ubuntu Linux.

    I restarted rsyslog (and even fail2ban) but the log is still empty. Also tried adding the line in /etc/rsyslog.conf and /etc/rsyslog.d/50-default.conf …still the log is empty.
