Hi,

I know, I know, it’s not your bug – technically speaking – but since Automattic’s AMP plugin has like no support at all – well I thought, give it a shot and ask here.

I am affected by two bugs. One is an image in a comment which is not rewritten to AMP-HTML. Google considers this critical. The other one is non-critical.

Basically it is listed here:

The other one with the iframe extension is, as far as I saw it, on every page that does not include an iframe such as a YouTube embed.

Here is Google’s opinion on the first matter:

The other is only considered “insignificant” but “may cause incompatibility in the future”.

It seems that the plugin you are using by wpseo.de is not outputting the data properly. Can you please deactivate it and see if that fixes the issue of duplicate canonical tags?

Hi Ahmed,

hmm, I disabled wpSEO and the validator still throws an error regarding that images. Then I noticed you want to see if that fixes the duplicate canonical tags, which I do not even have? They are not duplicated whether or not wpSEO is turned on or not.

I am a bit confused ??
