Can you explain “Synchronization with User Roles” please?

I’m looking for a lightweight content restriction method, that can support dripped content. I want to make use of user roles as much as I can and I hate all the overhead that comes with the fully-loaded membership plugins (registration forms, complicated leveling and so on).

I need to understand how your user roles synchronization works. The use case I’m thinking of is to create a user account using either Formidable or Gravity Forms. These will create the user account based on a custom user role. Then, how does your plugin tie-in? When I create the user role and setup the synchronization with the level in the plugin, all the restriction rules that I set in the user level get automatically applied to the user role?

That said, I also want to confirm that your plugin does not handle user registration (I see this as a good thing, if I’m understanding this correctly). Your plugin looks nice and I’m always on the lookout for power lightweight plugins that have a finely-tuned feature set and don’t try to do too much, or do all-the-things.
